3D Scans

Walk a room with the 3D Scan mode in CinemaCrew, and the scan is rebuilt on a server into a Gaussian splat: a 3D copy of the room that looks like a photo from any angle. A LiDAR phone also gives you a rough 3D model of the room and a drawn floor plan with measurements.

Use it to check where the camera fits, what the eyeline is from the doorway, and how big the room really is, without going back. Each rebuild uses the project’s credits.
