Building tomorrow's call sheet
Pick the shoot day and most of the sheet is already there. You add call times, weather, parking and the hospital, then send. Ten minutes, not an hour.
A worked example: day 7 at the Roxy
Start from the day
Create a call sheet against day 7 and it arrives carrying that day’s scenes in shooting order, its locations, its page total, the cast in those scenes, and the breakdown elements those scenes need. None of that is typed.
Check the call times
Crew call, cast call, on-set and first shot come from the schedule if you set them there. Override per person where somebody’s call differs. The make-up call is not the grip call.
Add what can't be derived
Weather, parking, and the nearest hospital. These are the fields crew read first and the ones no system can work out for you. Sunrise and sunset are carried from the schedule’s solar data.
Write the notes that matter
The access quirk, the neighbour who complained, the fact that the lift is out. A call sheet’s notes field is where a shoot day’s institutional knowledge lives.
Send it
One action, two routes: anyone on CinemaCrew gets it in the app, everyone else gets a PDF by email.
Watch the receipts
The delivery view shows who’s been sent it and who’s opened it. Chasing acknowledgements becomes a list of three names instead of a phone tree.
In-app delivery needs a paired device. Anyone without one falls back to email, so contact addresses on the Team tab need to be right before you send.
