Photos and video shot in the app are filed against the scene, errand, scouted item or location you shot them for. The same camera streams live to Video Village and captures 3D room scans.
Capture that files itself
The point of shooting on the app rather than the phone’s own camera is that the photo arrives attached to something. This errand, this scouted item, this location, rather than an unsorted camera roll. It appears in the workspace’s Media tab already labelled.
The camera’s three jobs
Stills and video
Filed against whatever you shot them for. Scout photos, proof of delivery, continuity stills.
Live streaming
Scan a Video Village pairing code and the phone becomes a monitor feed the office can watch and remotely set to record.
3D scan
Home → 3D Scan, or Scouting → Scan room. Walk the space and it’s reconstructed into a photoreal 3D copy.
A scan started from the home menu has nothing to attach to, so it arrives unfiled and is linked to a location afterwards from the workspace.
