Script Actions
Each script has action buttons for loading it in the editor, creating revisions, re-importing, undoing an import, and deleting. You can also use bulk operations to manage multiple scripts at once.
Per-Script Actions
Each script row has a set of action buttons. Here's what each one does:
Load in Editor
Opens the script in CSF's built-in Fountain editor. From there you can read, edit, and navigate the screenplay with syntax highlighting and scene navigation.
New Revision
Creates a copy of the script with a bumped revision number. The new revision is linked to the original via parentScriptId, so you can track the history of changes across drafts.
Redo Import
Re-parses the script's Fountain content and takes you back to the review screen. Use this after editing a script in the editor to refresh the scenes, characters, and locations that were extracted from it.
Undo Import
Reverses a script import by soft-deleting all scenes, characters, locations, and wardrobes that were created from this script. The script's stored Fountain text is re-analyzed to determine exactly which entities to remove. A confirmation modal explains what will be affected before proceeding. Use this when you imported a script into the wrong project or want to start over.
Delete
Soft-deletes the script. A confirmation modal appears before anything happens. Deleted scripts are hidden from the default list view but can be revealed with the "Show Deleted" toggle.
Restore
Recovers a soft-deleted script, returning it to the active list. This button only appears on deleted scripts when "Show Deleted" is enabled.
Bulk Operations
When you need to manage several scripts at once, use the bulk selection toolbar:
Select Mode
Click the checkbox icon or "Select" button to enter selection mode. Each script row gains a checkbox for multi-select.
Select All / Deselect All
Quickly check or uncheck every script in the current filtered view.
Invert Selection
Flips the current selection — checked items become unchecked and vice versa. Handy when you want to keep most scripts and delete just a few.
Bulk Delete
Soft-deletes all selected scripts at once. A confirmation modal shows the count before proceeding.
