Editing Shots
TL;DR — Click any field to edit it inline, drag rows to reorder, and use keyboard shortcuts to move through your shots fast.
Shot Labels
Each shot gets an auto-generated label based on its scene number and position: 1A, 1B, 2A, and so on. Labels update automatically when you reorder shots, so you never have to renumber manually.
Columns and Thumbnails
The shot table includes columns for Time, Shot Label, Thumbnail, Shot Type, Characters, and Description. You can resize the Characters and Description columns by dragging the column border. Hover over any thumbnail to see a large preview of the panel image.
Inline Editing
Click any editable field to change it: shot type (dropdown), camera angle, description, dialogue, action, and notes. Changes save automatically in the background — no save button needed.
Shot Types
Twelve shot types are available: WIDE, MED, CU, ECU, OTS, 2-SHOT, EST, INS, AERIAL, LOW, HIGH, and POV. Pick the shot type from a dropdown menu on each row.
Keyboard Shortcuts
Enter — save and move to the next row. Escape — cancel the current edit. Up / Down arrows — navigate between rows without leaving the keyboard.
Drag to Reorder
Grab any shot row and drag it to a new position within its location card. Shot labels re-generate automatically after you drop, so the numbering always stays correct.
