All Timelines Guides

Sorting & Bulk Actions

Sort the list by A–Z (scene number) or Date from the toolbar. When cuts have been deleted, a Show Deleted toggle reveals just those. Turn on Select mode to pick multiple timelines and delete them in one go with Select All, Invert, and Delete.

Sorting the List

The header carries a small two-button sort control:

  • A–Z — orders rows by scene number (the default). Click it again to flip to Z–A.
  • Date — orders by when each cut was created. Click again to reverse the direction.

On a narrow screen, the same choices live under the header’s Options dropdown, with a checkmark on the active sort. Your choice is remembered the next time you open the tab.

Showing Deleted Timelines

A Show Deleted toggle appears in the header only when at least one cut has been deleted. Turn it on and the list switches to showing just the deleted timelines (newest first), each with a red Deleted badge and a Restore button. Turn it back off to return to the normal per-scene view. If there are no deleted cuts, this mode shows “No deleted timelines.”

Select Mode

Click Select in the header (or pick it from the mobile Options dropdown) to enter select mode. You can also just click a row’s number — that drops you straight into select mode with that timeline chosen. A sticky action bar appears at the top of the list with:

  • Select All / Deselect — toggle every visible timeline on or off at once.
  • Invert — flip the current selection.
  • Delete (n) — remove the selected cuts in bulk; the count updates as you pick.

Only rows that actually have a timeline can be selected — dashed placeholders for scenes without a cut aren’t selectable. Click Cancel to leave select mode.

Bulk delete is a soft delete, just like the per-row Delete. Anything you remove can be brought back through Show DeletedRestore.
